Organization Vetting
Organizations on Tythe don’t receive DISC Scores — but they play a critical role in how accurately those scores are enforced, displayed, and trusted.
To maintain trust at the institutional level, every organization undergoes a vetting process before activating a TRIS and earning a DISC Rank. This process differs for On-Chain and Off-Chain organizations, but both are grounded in Tythe’s commitment to ZK-based privacy and proof-based credibility.
On-Chain Organizations
These include:
• Blockchains
• Protocols, dApps, and bridges
• DAOs
• NFT, memecoin, and digital asset ecosystems
Vetting Requirements:
• ZK-KYB (Know Your Business) via wallet ownership and smart contract control
• Public metadata disclosure (e.g. whitepaper, docs, site, team wallet signatures)
• Optional: Platform integration intent declaration
Post-Approval:
• Assigned a TRIS ID and organization classification
• Receive initial TCT allocation based on ecosystem impact
• Gain visibility on-chain as a Tythe Vetted Organization
On-Chain orgs do not need legal documentation — but must prove verifiable operational integrity.
Off-Chain Organizations (Coming Soon)
These include:
• Web2 platforms
• Registered companies
• Academic or financial institutions
• NGOs and nonprofits
Vetting Requirements (Planned):
• Third-party KYB with regulated compliance partners
• Document hash anchoring via Trovebook
• Wallet assignment and verification
• Terms and regional access review
Support for Off-Chain onboarding is being staged to ensure Tythe remains privacy-first, regulation-compliant, and legally robust.
Why Vetting Matters
Tythe cannot be permissionless by default — because credibility enforcement demands accountability, and trust without validation isn't trust at all.
By separating Vetted from Unvetted organizations, the protocol ensures:
• Score inflation is minimized
• Sybil orgs cannot spoof legitimacy
• Integration privileges are earned, not assumed
• Users know which platforms are backed by trust
“Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands, and do not share in the sins of others.”
