Dual Vaults
Every time a TRIS identity earns TCT, that credibility is automatically split into two vaults: the Credibility Vault and the Validation Vault.
This is called the Dual Vault Architecture — a design that separates what you’ve earned from what you can use to validate others.
Why It Exists
Most reputation systems fail to distinguish between accumulated trust and delegated trust.
Tythe enforces that distinction:
• Your Credibility Vault reflects what you’ve proven
• Your Validation Vault reflects how much of that credibility you can risk on others
This system ensures that no one can endlessly vouch for others without earning reputation first.
How It Works
Whenever you earn TCT:
• 80% is sent to your Credibility Vault
→ Immutable, used to calculate your DISC Score
• 20% is sent to your Validation Vault
→ Spendable, used for Credonation
Each vault is publicly viewable through your TRIS metadata, and updated in real time as actions are verified and credibility is earned.
Immutable vs Spendable
• Credibility Vault → Contributes to DISC Score (is Immutable and Non-Spendable)
• Validation Vault → Used for validation via Credonate (is Spendable and Replenish-able)
You can only validate others using the credibility you’ve earned — and you can never give what you haven’t built.
Your Credibility Vault is your credibility alone. Your Validation Vault is your vote of credibility for others.
