Compliance

Compliance metrics measure whether a user consistently respects platform rules, terms of service, and broader governance frameworks. These metrics ensure credibility is earned not just technically — but ethically and responsibly.

Example Compliance Metrics

• compliance_moderation_flags: Tracks whether a user has received verified moderation warnings, bans, or strikes—weighted based on frequency and severity.

• compliance_policy_adherence: Assesses whether a user participates in alignment with community or protocol rules (e.g. DAO rules, contributor guidelines, grant requirements).

• compliance_legal_verification: Verifies user alignment with legal onboarding processes where applicable — e.g., consent to terms, regional restrictions, DAO voting eligibility.

Use Cases

• Flag users for repeated TOS violations

• Deny DAO voting power to rule-breakers

• Block eligibility for grants, roles, or high-trust environments

• Balance positive contributions against policy violations in reputation scoring

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”

— Proverbs 14:34
