TYT (Tythe Token)

TYT is Tythe’s transferable utility token.

It powers access, integration, and governance within the Tythe ecosystem—distinct from TCT, which governs credibility.

Core Functions

• Used to activate TRIS (after free adoption phase)

• Required for platform integrations and developer API access

• Powers staking, governance participation, and future incentive mechanisms

TYT Staking

TYT is Tythe’s utility and economic token — and staking it gives contributors and platforms access to governance participation and protocol-level privileges.

While TCT is the core determinant of governance power, TYT is required for:

• Activating voting rights

• Supporting protocol integrations

• Gaining proposal visibility or tiered access

• Participating in future staking-based utility modules

Governance Voting Power = 70% TCT + 30% TYT

Staking TYT unlocks your eligibility, but staking TCT earns your weight.

Unlike TCT staking — which is tied to trust and validation — TYT staking is about alignment, not authority.

Learn more about governance mechanics in the [Governance] section.

How It Works

• TYT is tradable and liquid

• Can be used for fee payments, access control, and platform service consumption

• Does not affect DISC Score or DISC Rank

• Will be paired with TCT in hybrid staking mechanics and protocol governance

Key Properties

• Tradeable

• Utility-bound, not reputation-bound

• Designed to fuel protocol growth and sustainability

• Will be integrated into Tythe’s governance model over time

TYT powers utility. It keeps you involved and fuels the adoption of decentralized credibility.

“Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.”
