Credonate

Credonate is Tythe’s native credibility transfer mechanism.

It allows individuals and organizations to validate others by sending TCT from their Validation Vault to another TRIS identity. Unlike tips or tokens, a Credonation isn’t a transaction of value — it’s a statement of trust, backed by earned reputation.

What Credonation Does

• For Individuals:

Increases the recipient’s DISC Score

• For Organizations:

Increases the recipient’s TCT holdings, which impact their DISC Rank

Each Credonation is irreversible, permanently recorded on-chain, and publicly linked to both donor and recipient.

Why It Matters

Credonation transforms passive scoring into active trust-building.

• You risk your credibility to uplift others

• Your DISC Score is on the line every time you validate

• The more credible you are, the more weight your Credonations carry

This ensures that reputation flows through merit — not money.

Credonation Rules

• Can only be sent from your Validation Vault

• Credonations are non-recoverable

• Your Credibility Vault remains untouched

• All Credonations are permanently visible via TRIS metadata

You can’t buy reputation. But once you earn it, you can help build it — for others.

Proximity Enforcement (Managed Separately)

To prevent false inflation and bad actor farming, Credonation follows strict DISC Score banding and optional proximity enforcement rules.

These controls are covered in detail on the Credonation Proximity page under Credibility Enforcement.

Use Cases

• Individuals validating contributors, partners, or collaborators

• Organizations Credonating to users, builders, or aligned projects

• Reputation-based staking into protocol governance

• Earning DISC Score not just from actions — but from the trust of others

Credonation is your voice in the economy of credibility.

You don’t just earn credibility. You invest it.

“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.”

— Proverbs 3:27
