Credonation

Credonation is Tythe’s native credibility transfer mechanism. It enables individuals to spend TCT from their Validation Vault to validate another TRIS identity. Unlike tips or token transfers, a Credonation is a directional vote of trust, backed by earned reputation — not capital.

How It Works

• You earn TCT → it is split: 80% to your Credibility Vault, 20% to your Validation Vault.

• Credonation uses only the Validation Vault.

• When you Credonate:

  • The recipient’s DISC Score (if individual) or orgRank (if org) increases.

  • The Credonation is permanent, public, and non-reversible.

  • The amount deducted from your Validation Vault cannot be reclaimed.

Declining Credonations

• Any TRIS can manually or automatically decline incoming Credonations.

• Declined Credonations are fully refunded to sender.

• No metadata is recorded for declined events.
