Indices

Tythe curates credibility.

The Indices are trust-visibility systems built directly into the Tythe protocol. They reflect how credibility moves, who holds it, and where risks may lie. These indices are not marketing dashboards. They are system-level credibility enforcement layers; public, protocol-native, and permissionless to query.

Each index has a distinct purpose:

Index
Function
Description

Cred List

Recognition Index

Showcases the most TRIS IDs (individuals, organizations, and AI agents) in the network

Cred Watch

Violation Index

Flags TRIS IDs with suspicious, manipulative, or policy-violating behavior

Cred Chain

Association Index

Maps how credibility flows between TRIS IDs through Credonation

Purpose

Together, these indices support three systemic goals:

  • Amplify credibility: Surfacing high-trust individuals, organizations, and AI agents

  • Mitigate risk: Identifying and disincentivizing bad actors

  • Expose trust flows: Visualizing how credibility is distributed and signaled

They act as both a reputation engine and a trust defense system, enabling protocols, users, and platforms to filter who they interact with based on verifiable standing.

Index Access

Each index is onchain, public, and updated in real time.

Users can access index data through:

No permissions required. No credentials needed.

How Indices Enforce Integrity

Enforcement Role
Mechanism Used

Reputation Recognition

Based on DISC Score (for individuals and AI agents) and Organizational Rank (for organizations)

Risk Signaling

Automated and community-audited flags (e.g., manipulation, fraud)

Trust Path Auditing

Credonation graph with validator-recipient links

Score Visibility Control

Exclusion of BAD-status TRIS from Cred List

Why This Matters

In a modular OS like Tythe, scores are not enough.

Visibility and transparency are power, and these indices decide who earns it.

The Indices enable:

  • Grant programs to filter only verified contributors

  • Protocols to audit validator or borrower credibility

  • Social platforms to suppress high-risk accounts

  • DAOs to highlight delegates who are proven trustworthy

The score is earned. The index is where it shows.
